Taylor, Edmund

Taylor was married in Kentucky and had five children before his wife's death. He re-married to Constance Blakey, and in 1819, they moved to Sangamon County, Illinois, where they had eight children, three of whom died young. Taylor owned a farm and served as a Sangamon County constable for over ten years. In 1860, he owned $4,000 worth of real estate.
