Tibbs, Joseph
Born: 1812-XX-XX Indiana
Tibbs moved to Sangamon County, Illinois, sometime before 1830. He fought in the Black Hawk War in the same company as Abraham Lincoln. In the fall of 1848, Tibbs moved to Mason County, Illinois, where he commenced farming. By 1854, Tibbs had acquired 200 acres of land in said county.
