Trent, William
Flourished: 1832-1834 Menard County, Illinois
Trent arrived in Sangamon County, Illinois, before 1832, eventually settling near Indian Creek, an area later subsumed into Menard County. In the 1840s, he moved to Mason County, Illinois, acquiring huge tracts of land in the Manito area. From 1854 to 1856, Trent was coroner of Menard County.
