Warren, Cornelius

Died: 1849-07-28 Cold Spring, New York

Warren completed preparatory studies and studied law. He earned admittance to the bar and started a law practice. He earned appointment to judge of the court of common pleas in 1841. In 1846, he won election, as a Whig, to the U.S. House of Representatives, serving alongside Abraham Lincoln from 1847 to 1849.
