Williamson, William

Williamson was an early settler of New Salem, Illinois, arriving there by 1830. In 1835, he purchased 41 acres of public land in an area that would be subsumed into Menard County, Illinois. He lived in Sangamon County, Illinois and surrounding areas until at least 1855.
