Williamson, William

Flourished:

Williamson was an early settler of New Salem, Illinois, arriving there by 1830. In 1835, he purchased forty-one acres of public land in an area that would be subsumed into Menard County, Illinois. He lived in Sangamon County, Illinois and surrounding areas until at least 1855.
