A bill for an act to authorize Rhoda Hart and others to sell and convey certain real estate.
Sec.[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the People of the state of Illinois represented in the the General Assembly: That Rhoda Hart, widdow, and Harvey B. Hart, Moses P. Hart, Nancy Hart, John F Wilson, Martha Wilson, and Rhoda Hart, adult heirs of Moss Moses Hart deceased, all of the county of Sangamon and state of Illinois, be and they are hereby authorized to sell and jointly convey,
by a deed or deeds in fee simple, all the real estate of which the said Moses Hart
deceased died seized, the same being the South West quarter of Section Twenty four,
the East half of the North West quarter of Section Twentyfour, and fifty acres of
the South end or part of the East half of the South West quarter of Section Thirteen
all in Township Seventeen North of Range Seven West of the Third Principal Meridian,
and lying in the said county of Sangamon.2
Sec 2. The said conveyance shall be with this condition; that if the minor heirs of
the said Moses Hart ^deceased^ shall not execute a release of all their right and title to said real estate, in
favour of the purchaser or purchasers, his, her, or their heirs or assigns, within
one year after the youngest of them shall arrive at the age of twentyone years, all
the above named persons, selling and conveying said real estate as aforesaid, shall
be jointly and severally bound to pay to the said purchaser or purchasers, his, her,
or their heirs or assigns, double the sum for which the part of the said minor heirs
may have been sold, to be recovered in an action of debt against them or either of
them; and this act shall be suf-

ficient evidence of said condition, without the same being set forth in the deed of
conveyance or any other writing.
Section 3 The duly appointed guardian of the minor heirs of William Everly deceased, late of the county of Edwards and state of Illinois, be authorized to sell and convey the following described tracts
of land, towit, the West half of the South West quarter of Section three, and the
West half of the South East quarter of Section four, both in Township Seventeen North
of Range two West of the Third Principal Meridian, and situated in the county of Sangamon
and state aforesaid, the same being the property of the said minor heirs, and to apply
the proceeds thereof to the maintainance and education of said heirs.3
