Sec. [Section]1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General assembly

That the obligors upon a certain bond executed by sundry citizens of the city of Springfield in favour of the State of Illinois, for the sum of fifty thousand dollars, be authorized to discharge the same or the balance due thereon in whole or in part in Illinois Internal Improvement Scrip.
