Whereas John Stakwell who was Elected Sheriff of the county of Clark on the 4th day
of August 1834 has failed to pay Over to, the Auditor of public accounts the sum of
three dollars and eighty one cents, Therefore
Sec[Section] 1st Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly that the Governor of this State, be and he is hereby authorised, to Issue a commission
to said John Stackwell upon his producing to the Governor the proper quietus as now
required by Law
Sec 2s that the Governor also be autherised to issue a commission to William Worthin of
Jackson County, by his producing a quietus from the proper officer of the County as
now required by Law
