A Bill for “an act to ascrtain the County line between the Counties of Morgan and Sangamon
Sec[Section] 1st Be it Enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General assembly That William Weatherfordof Morgan County and Harry Riggin of Sangamon & John K Fitts, of Macoupin county,be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to ascertain designate and permanently establish the county line between the Counties of Morgan & Sangamon,
Sec 2nd Said commissioners or a majority of them at some day before the first of June next shall meet at Cookes & Eastmans, Mill, and after having been sworn by some Justice of the peace of either Morgan or Sangamon County, shall proceede to ascertain designate and establish the county line between said Counties beginning at the South East corner of Township 13 North of Range 8 West of the 3rd principal Meridian, and running thence in a northern direction between the waters of Apple Creek Mauvaisterre and Indian Creeks, on the left and the waters of The Sangamon River on the right until they strike the [...?] Middle of Range 8 West.
