Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the proprietors of the Town of Venus in Hancock county, and the purchasers of lots therein, be, and they are hereby authorized and empowered to alter[,] change[,] or vacate the survey and plat of said Town of Venus: Provided that no such change, alteration[,] or vacation shall be made without the consent of all the proprietors and purchasers aforesaid.

Sec 2 Any change[,] alteration[,] or vacation heretofore made in the survey, plat or [name] of the said town with the consent of the proprietors and purchasers as aforesaid shall be and remain valid and effectual to all intents and purposes.
