A Bill for An act to lay1 out ^a^ road from Blair[]s ferry to Frankfort, and for other Herein named purposes.
Sect.[Section] 1st Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly. That John Baldwin, Thomas Consert, and Daniel Watkins, be and they are hereby appointed commissioners to view, lay out, and mark a road from Blairs ferry on the Ohio river in Pope County to intersect McFarland’s road at or near Bradford’s and from thence to Vandalia the road as it now runs by Blackman’s in Gallatin County, thence by McRary’s old place, thence by Estis Estes’ thence by Mount Vernon and thence to Vandalia be, and the same is hereby declared a state road together with such part of said road as may be laid out, by said commissioners all of which shall be opened and kept in repair as other state roads are by law required to be
Sect 2nd That the said Commissioners shall view[,] mark[,] and locate said road, on or before the 1st day of Aug’[August] 1835, and shall be allowed out of the County Treasury of Pope County one
