Sec[Section]. 1st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly, That Thomas C. Kirkman be and he is hereby authorized to bargain, sell and convey away [by such Deed of?] conveyance as may be agreed upon by [?] the right, title, claim and interest [?] Thomas G. B. S. Kirkman Infant son of [Thomas C Kirkman] has in and to the South west quarter of Section [thirty?] two, Township one South in range four west, and the North east quarter of Section Twelve Township Five north Range Two East, boath of Said tracts Lying and being in the military tract in the state of Illinois.
Sec. 2. Said Thomas C Kirkman, so soon as he shall effect a sale of said Lands, is hereby authorized and required to vest the proceeds of said sale in the best probible manner for the interest and advantage of the said Thomas G. B. S. Kirkman in other Lands or otherwise as may seem to him right and just This act to be in force from and after its passage
