Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly That it shall and may be lawfull, that all Lands lying in the County of Franklin on which Taxes are due and unpaid, and which by virtue of an act approved Feb.y. 27. 1833. would be subject to sale for the Taxes due thereon, on the first Monday
in March next. That the Clerk of said County is hereby legally authorized to sell the same on the first Monday in May next, by
making publication of said sale, in all respects, previous, to the sale of the same
as required by law
Sec 2. And the Clerk of the County Commissioners Court of Franklin County shall hereby have until the first Monday in June next to make his return to the Auditor
of Public Accounts, and pay over the whole amount of Taxes, due on said lands into
the State Treasury, as is now provided by law
Sec 3. All lands which may be sold for Taxes, under the provisions of this act, are hereby
declared valid, in every respect as if the same had been sold under the provisions
of the above recited act, any law to the contrary notwithstanding
