Be it enacted by the People of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly; That the Sheriff of Shelby County, be and he is hereby allowed until the first monday in September next, to settle with the County Commissioners Court of Shelby County for the tax collectable for, and during the year 1836. Provided said Sheriff pay over to the treasurer of the said County on the first monday in March next all the money that he may at that time have collected for the taxes aforesaid.
This act to take effect from and after its passage.
