AN ACT to amend an act entitled “an act to create and organise the counties therein named, approved January 15th 1831.”

Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That so much of the 12th section of the above recited act, as attaches townships 12 and 13 north, 5 east, to the county of Henry, be, and the same is hereby repealed.2
Approved 4th March, 1837.
1On January 27, 1837, Peter Butler introduced SB 128 in the Senate. On February 27, the Senate passed the bill. The House of Representatives passed the bill on February 28. On March 4, the Council of Revision approved the bill, and the act became law.
