AN ACT prescribing the time of holding the circuit court in the county of Washington.
1Circuit court of Washington changed.
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the circuit court of the county of Washington in the second judicial circuit, shall be held on the Fridays after the first Mondays in March and September, any
thing in the act entitled an act supplemental to the several acts relating to the circuit courts in this State, approved January 16th 1836, to the contrary notwithstanding.2
Approved February 10, 1837.
1John D. Wood introduced SB 154 in the Senate on February 2, 1837. The Senate passed the bill on February 3. The House of Representatives concurred on February 3. On February 10, the Council of Revision approved the bill, and the act became law.
