Sec[Section] 1. Be it Enacted by the People of the state of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly. That so much of the Eighth section of the act entitled “An act to Incorporate the Beardstown and Sangamon canal company approved 28^th of December 1835 as requires said company to file a copy of the map of the line or Location of the canal with the Recorder of each county through ^which^ the canal passes, be and the same is hereby repealed; and the first proviso to the tenth section of said act is also repealed.
