Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That it Shall be the duty of the Governor by and with the consent of the Senate to appoint one notary public in the Town of Beardstown in Morgan County Whose duty and time of service, Shall be the same as are now regulated by law any law to the contrary notwithstanding
Sec 2. That there shall be elected one additional justice of the peace in the Town of Carolton in Green County Said Election shall be holden on the first monday in May next at the Court House in the said Town of Carrolton and shall be conducted in all respects as other Elections for justices of the peace and shall be commessed and quatified and hold his office until the next regular election for justices of the peace in this State
