Whereas by an act of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois Passed on the 13th day of February 1835, appointing Commissioners to locate a State Road from Knoxville to New Boston, required said Commissioners to be sworn by some Justice of the Peace. And said Commissioners having been sworn by the Clerk of the County Commissioners Court; thereby making it doubtful whether said Commissioners were legally authorized to locate said Road Therefore
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly: That the road as now laid out from Knoxville in Knox County to New Boston in Mercer County, be, and the same is hereby declared a State road And said road shall be opened and kept in repair as other roads are.
Sec. 2. This act to take effect, and be in force from and after its passage
