Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the general assembly That the act to am entitled an act to amend an act entitled an act relating to the attorney General and states attorneys in force Febr[February] 7. 1835 be repealed and all acts and parts of acts thereby repealed are hereby revived Provided that all officers elected in pursuance of the provisions of the act hereby repealed shall continue in office during the terms for which they were respectively elected
