Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly that so much of the several revenue laws of this State as require the State Treasury to pay the County Commissioners of McDonough county for the use of said County any sum or sums of money in lieu of her resident land tax be and the same is hereby
repealed and hereafter the Sheriff of said County be required to pay to the County Treasury of the aforesaid County the amount of tax collected by him on lands lying in said County at the same time and in the same manner as Sheriffs is, in the several Counties in
this State other than those on the Military tract
This act to be in force from and after its passage
