An act concerning Bail, in Criminal Cases.
sect[section] 1sst Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General assembly That in all cases, where the Bail of any person charged with a criminal offense shall have surrendered such person to the proper officer, as shall herafter make such surrender, before a forfeiture is taken. such surrender shall opperate as a full discharge of such recognizence,
sect: 2nd That the sheriffs & Jailors of this state shall receive & imprison all such persons as shall be charged with a violation of the Laws of Corporate Cites & Towns within this state,
