AN ACT concerning Public Roads.

Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That in all cases where commissioners were appointed to locate state roads by acts passed during the last session of the General Assembly, and said commissioners have from any cause whatever failed to perform the duties required of them, they are hereby authorized to perform the said duties at any time previous to the twenty-fifth day of December next.

1Benjamin Mitchell introduced SB 2 in the Senate on July 10, 1837. The Senate passed the bill on July 12. The House of Representatives concurred on July 14. On July 20, the Council of Revision approved the bill and the act became law.
