Whereas Tyler D. Hewitt late Commissioner of the Gallatin saline lands, died, without having settled up his accounts as such Commissioner, and the same remaining unadjusted and unsettled; and in order to settle the accounts aforesaid without delay
Therefore Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General assembly That it shall be the duty of the auditor of Public Accounts to institute a suit in the Gallatin Circuit Court against the securities of the late Tyler D Huett on his official Bond as commissioner of sales of saline Lands.
Sec 2. That the circuit attorney for the third Judicial Circuit, be authorised and required to collect any money that may be due from the Lessees or any agent of the Gallatin Salines, and pay the same over to the state Treasurer.
