An Act to amend the law in relation to Sheriffs and Coroners.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois Represented in the General assembly. That it shall be lawful for the clerk of the Circuit Court in any county in this
state on the application of the plaintiff in any Judgment where an execution can properly
be issued and on affidavit being filed by said the plaintiff his agent or attorney that the sheriff has failed to pay over money
collected by him on any previous Execution in favour of the same plaintiff or any other person on demand made therefor by the plaintiff
in such previous Execution his agent or attorney, to issue Execution directed to the
Coroner of the County who shall be authorised and required to perform all duties in relation to said Execution which the sheriff
is authorised and required to du ^perform^ where the Execution is directed to him
