AN ACT to authorize a relocation of a State road therein named.

Duty of commissioners of Edwards co. to appoint com’rs[commissioners] to relocate road.
Road from Albion to Maysville.
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the county commissioners’ court of Edwards county be, and they are hereby, authorized to appoint three commissioners, whose duty it shall be to meet on a day by them to be appointed, and, after being duly sworn before some justice of the peace faithfully and impartially to discharge the duty required of them by this act, to proceed to view, survey, and relocate so much of the State road leading from Albion to Maysville as lies between Albion and the bridge on the North folk of the Village creek on said road, and return a survey and plat thereof to the county commissioners’ court of said county , which shall be recorded by the clerk thereof.
Sec. 2. That after said relocation shall have been made, and the plat and survey thereof returned, the said road, thus located, shall be opened and kept in repair as other State roads are required to be; and the road as now located shall be vacated.
Compensation.
Sec. 3. That the county commissioners’ court of said county shall allow said commissioners a reasonable compensation for the services to be performed under the provisions of this act.
