To the Hon. Senate and house of Representatives of the State of Illinois at Vandalia assembled
       Whereas David H Mead  did about two years  ago procure from the united States Eighty acres of Land adjoining
               the Lands belonging to the Infant heir Daniel Dry Deceased Late of Perry County State of Illinois and [shortly?] Built a house and now lives in said house and supposed it to be in his own land but
               when he had his land [Surveyed?] the said house proved to be on the Lands belonging to said heirs now [?] under agreed do Pray [
                  
                  ?] honorable [?]  pass a Law to grant a sale of six  or Eight acres of said Land to include said Building
               by the administrator of said Daniel  Drys Estate to David H Mead as  will not 
               [?] said farms belonging to said Estate for which are your  humbile petitioners  feel in duty bound to Pray.
