Section 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly that the Governor shall, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate appoint all Bank Directors, to be appointed on behalf of the State of Illinois.
Section 2. The Governor of the State of Illinois shall have power to appoint such directors as are contemplated by this Act, when
vacancies shall occur, and the Legislature is not in session, who shall severally hold their offices until the end of the next
regular session of the General Assembly.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect so soon as the Bank shall signify its acceptance,
by an entry of the same upon their Books, and notifying the Governor of the same
