Whereas it is represented to this General Assembly, that in the sale, by the school Commissioners of Edwards County, of school Section N^o 16 in Township 2. South in Range N^o 14 West, mistakes occured, in consequence of the misnumbering of the several 40 acres lots into which said section was divided so that the several purchasers of said lots find themselves disappoined in the location of thier respective purchases Therefore

Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the present School Commissioner of siad County shall return to the several purchasers of lots in said section the several notes executed by them, for said lots. And shall then proceed according to Law, to advertise and offer said several lots for sale again to the highest bidders respectively without regard to said former sale Provided that said purchasers shall have the right of preemption to the respective lots formerly purchased by them according to the true numbers as understood at said former sale

Sec: 2 The erronious plat of said school section filed by the Trustees of said Township is hereby vacated. And the true plat shall be made out and filed in lieu thereof on the payment by them according to law of the former prices bid by them respectively with legal interest thereon from said former day of sale till paid.
