Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That hereafter the Sheriff of Hancock County, shall pay into the County Treasury of said County, the resident land tax collected in said county, any law to the contrary notwithstanding: and that so much, of the several laws of this state, [as?] requires the sum of four hundred dollars to be [paid?] out of the state Treasury to the county aforesaid, be and the same is hereby repealed.
