Sec[Section] 1 Be it Enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General assembly, That all that district included within the boundaries of Township Seven north Range seven East in the County of Peoria, be and the same is hereby constituted a district for the election of a Justice of the Peace and Constable

Sec 2 the County Commissioners Court of the County of Peoria are hereby authorised and requred to cause an election to be held on or before the first Monday in August Next, and at each quad quadrenial election thereafter for one justice of the peace and one constable in said district, The persons so elected shall have and exercise the Same Jurisdictions, hold their offices by the same tenure, and be under the same regulations, in all respects as other justices of the peace and Constables in this state
