Section 1 Be it Enacted by the People of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly That the Fund Commissioners of the State of Illinois, are hereby authorized to ^loan^ the Illinois and Michigan Canal Fund the Sum of Three Hundred Thousand dollars, authorized to be Borrowed by the act Entitled “An act to provide for the sale of certain Canal Lands and for other purposes approved on the twenty first day of July one Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty seven, said Loan to be refunded on or before the first day of June next with Interest at the rate of six per cent per annum from the date of the Loan to the time of payment.
