Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That in all cases where Commissioners have been appointed by any law heretofore
passed by the General Assembly, to locate State roads, and [?] commissioners have failed to perform the duties required of them within the time
provided they are hereby authorized to perform said duties at any time within one
year from the passage of this act.
Sec 2 In all cases where any Commissioner shall die, remove or refuse to serve, the county commissioners’ Court of the county in which such Commissioner resided, shall have power to appoint some
other person to fill such vacancy. This act to take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.
