Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the County Commissioners’ Court of Johnson County, be, and they are hereby authorized to Contract with the Recorder of Deeds for said county of Johnson, for the transcribing into suitable Books, all Deeds and other instruments of writing heretofore recorded in said Recorder’s office, and that they be allowed to pay to said Recorder, a reasonable compensation therefor, out of the funds of said county.

Sec 2 This act to take effect from and after its passage.
