Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That so much of the fourth section of an act entitled “An act to incorporate the Kaskaskia Bridge company,” approved January 31,^^st^ 1837,” as graduates the votes in a certain proportion to the number of shares, be, and the same is hereby repealed, and that each shareholder shall be entitled to as many votes as the number of shares he or she shall hold in said company.

Sec 2 That so much of the fifteenth section of the act aforesaid as provides for the vesting of the right and title to said bridge in the people of this State, upon paying to said Company all their expenditures with interest thereon, &c[etc.]., be, and the same is hereby repealed.

This act to be in force from and after its passage.
