Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That all the duties that are required and directed to be done by the County Commissioners of Green County, under an act authorising the County Commissioners Court to construct certain roads in Green County approved March 2^nd 1839, if the County of Jersey had not been created, is hereby authorised and required to be done by the County Commissioners of Jersey County in regard to the road from Jerseyville to the river in said County, said County Commissioners are hereby authorised and required to expend the same amount of money, and in the same way, that the County Commissioners of Green County would have done, if the County of Jersey had not have been created This act to be in force from and after its passage
