AN ACT to revive and continue in force an act, entitled “An act to locate a certain State road therein mentioned, approved Feb.[February] 27, 1839.”
1Act revived, & further time allowed to locate road.
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That an act, entitled an act to locate a certain State road therein mentioned, approved February 27, 1839, be revived, and that the period of time allowed the commissioners, appointed by said
act, to perform the duties therein assigned them therein, be extended to one year from
the passage of this act.2

1On December 19, 1839, Senator James H. Woodworth introduced SB 20 in the Senate, and the Senate referred the bill to the Committee on Public Roads. On December 24,
the Committee on Public Roads approved the bill without amendment. On December 27,
the Senate passed the bill. On January 11, 1840, the House of Representatives passed the bill. On January 18, the Council of Revision approved the bill and the act became law.
