We the undersigned, inhabitants of the county of Kalamazoo, hereby respectfully request
the Post Master General to establish a mail route route from Battle Creek by the Steam Mill in Le Roy, Pine Creek, Wakeshma, & Brady
to Holland Post Office or Schoolcraft, as in our opinion the public interest and
convenience will be much promoted thereby.

The petition of citizens of the Counties of Calhoun and Kalamazoo Michigan via the
Steam Mill on Sec 8 in the town of Le Roy, thence by the most direct route to the
centre of Sec 8 in the town of Athens in Calhoun County, thence west through and near
the centre of the town of Wakeshma, and through the town of Brady in the County of
Kalamazoo aforesaid.
