after waiting so long a time we have got up a petition to the Post Master General
which I have here enclosed for the removal of the Tyrone Post Office to a more convenient
part of the Town as far as the accomidation of the Inhabitants is concerned, Allso we wish there could be something Done by the Department whereby we can be accomidated by haveing our Mails brought to us [or?] in a moer convent part of the Town, said Office as it now ^is,^ is located in the north west corner of the Town the Post Master is a Whig of the
rankest kind, his Tables are now loaded with papers and publick Documents which have
been sent by Publick Men to their friends who [from?] the inconvenience of the office have not called for them, as there is now a very
important Election to take place soon, we as Democrats, Citizens, of the Town Do wish
there could be something, Done whereby we could be accomidated.
Please forward the enclosed petition and Do what you can to bring this matter about
if you wish any furthur information please write to me, if there can be nothing Done for us, please inform
me the reason why
