To the Honorable Cave Johnson Post Master General
We your petitioners pray that you consider the wants of the people of this Town and would [grant?] a post rout from the Village of Brighton in Livingston county through the Towns of Hartland and Tyrone to Fentonville in Genesse county [the?] we would further pray that you would remove the Tyrone Post Office to a more central point on said proposed rout accommodating thereby nineteen of the population of said Town to the present Office accommodating one. The old one as it now stands or is, located in the north west corner of the Town is of little importance to the people of TyroneIf the prayer of this petition should be granted so far we would further request the location of the post Office to be on the east half of the south east quarter of Sec 21 in said Town of Tyrone and would recommend the name of James [Cormer?] on location as aforesaid as post master
Yours Respectfully
