An ACT to authorize the Madison County Ferry Company to construct a road or causeway.

Sec. [Section]1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the Madison County Ferry company is hereby permitted and authorized to construct a road or causeway, from the ferry landing, in Madison county, on the Mississippi river, opposite North St. Louis, across the sand bar in front of said ferry landing; such road or causeway not to exceed forty feet in width, and four feet in heighth, above the highest part of said sand bar.
