Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General assembly, That the further time of one year from the passage of this act is hereby granted
and extended to the said Charles J Weed his heirs and assigns for the erection and completion of the mill dam which he is
authorized to erect and continue by the act to which this is an amendment, any thing
in the first proviso to said act to the contrary notwithstanding.
This act to be in force from and after its passage.
