An ACT to amend an act, entitled “An act for the relief of Charles J.
Weed,” approved, January 27, 1837.
1Further time allowed to build mill-dam.
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the further time of one year from the passage of this act is hereby granted
and extended to the said Charles J. Weed, his heirs and assigns for the erection and completion of the mill-dam, which he
is authorized to erect, and continue by the act to which this is an amendment, any thing in the first proviso to said act to the
contrary notwithstanding.2 This act to be in force from and after its passage.
