Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly. That the County Commissioners of Greene County, may allow the Sheriff of said County for Exificio services, any sum not exceeding one hundred Dollars, and the Sheriff of said County shall be entitled to one office in the Court house in said County free of charge, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
