Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That the Proviso to the fifth section of the act entitled “an act to Incorporate the Town of Galesburg in Knox County,” be and the same is hereby repealed

Sec. 2. The board of Trustees of the Town of Galesburg are hereby authorized to levy and collect taxes on all real estate, subject to taxation, within the Incorporated limits of said town of Galesburg in the manner and for the purposes, as authorized by the act to which this is an amendment.
