Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General Assembly. That Allen Boomer, Marcus White, C. H. Avery, and A. E. Ames, their Successors and assigns be and they are hereby constituted a body Corporate
and politic by the name of the Union Manufacturing Company, and that all the rights, and privileges, that are confered on the “Union Steam Mill Company” by an act Entitled “an act to Establish a company for Manufactury Approved 2nd of March 1839 are hereby confered on the said Union Manufacturing Company: Provided that the private property of every one of the stockholders, shall be liable
for all the debts incurred, by said Corporation.
