Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly. That it shall be the duty of the County Commissioners of Bond County, and they are hereby required, to pay over to the Treasurer of the State of Illinois, the sum of Seven hundred Dollars; one half in six and the other half in twelve months, from the passage of this act; which sum when paid, shall be in full for the Taxes due the State, from the said County, for the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine.

Sec 2 The County Commissioners of said County, are hereby authorised to pay the above sum, out of the fund, donated to said County, by an act entitled “an act to Establish and Maintain a General System of Internal Improvements,” any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
