That the residum of the Vermillion Saline lands unsold be by the Commissioner for sold [...?] as the lands heretofor have been, and that the proceeds of the section therof be appropiated to building the Bridge across the Big Vermillion River at Danville and the proceeds of one Section to be appropiated to the improvemt[improvement] of the road across the bottom called Purgatory in Lawrence County to be expended under the direction of Samuel Harris and James M^cLean. And that the proceeds of the remaining lands be placed in the treasury of the State to be applied to [the?] defray the ordinary expense of the govermt[government].

Sec[Section] 2^d That the two first appropiations be paid by said Commissioner out of the first monies by him received in the order they are herein made, the first upon application of the Com/s^rs for building said Bridge at Danville and the second upon the application of the persons under whose superintendence the money is to be applied. And the residue shall be paid into the state treasury
