JOINT RESOLUTION in relation to the easterly division of the Peoria and Warsaw railroad
1Peoria railr’d[railroad] to run via Farmington.
Resolved by the General Assembly
, That the Board of Commissioners of Public Works be, and they are hereby, authorized
and empowered to locate and construct the Peoria and Warsaw railroad via Farmington, in Fulton county, should the said Board deem it expedient for the interest of the
State, and for the convenience and accommodation of the community, so to do.
1On February 23, 1839, Edward Smith introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives. On February 25, the House adopted the resolution. The Senate adopted the resolution
February 26.
