Resolved by the Senate, (the House of Representatives concurring herein,) That the Governor be requested to forward to our Senators and
Representatives in Congress, copies of all such resolutions and memorials as may be adopted and passed by the
present General Assembly, addressed to that body.2
1On January 21, 1835, Adam W. Snyder introduced the resolution in the Senate. On January 22, the House of Representatives amended the resolution by adding “The Governor shall be furnished with a copy of
all such Memorials and Resolutions, after their passage.” The House then adopted the
resolution. On January 27, the Senate concurred in the amendment from the House.
